A bit nervous with crowds and temp. We are using our free tix from America's Funniest Video (when they shot at MK in May) to take our soon to be 5yo (15 hours and she's 5!!!) to MK for her b-day.

We are having dinner at Chef Mickey's, but the earliest ressie we could get was for 7:40pm. CM said we could go early and would be considered for seating before someone who walks up without a PS.

Anyway--so super long day at Disney with 5yo and 2.5yo. We are bringing the double stroller and will keep up with the standard water and such.

Looking for "commando" touring tips---course of action. 5yo is tall enough for everything but Space Mountain....but can't forget the 2.5yo who does expect a ride or two. So not sure if our family is ready for the dodge over to the mountains first thing just yet.

We are Disney experts..but part of the, "go for a few hours and leave club".

Where to start and how to circumnavigate the kingdom? Any touring tips?

We do have a fast pass on hand for Splash Mountain leftover from a ride breakdown that we were told could be used on a future trip. So that eliminates one line :cheer2: .

(these are single day non park-hopper tix).

Wow. Do you have the Unofficial Guide? You could use the Dumbo or Die in a Day touring plan, or there are others in there for 1 day of seeing everything. For 6.95 you can also subscribe to their online plans at www.touringplans.com -- you'll instantly be able to print out one of many that might suit your needs. That's what I would do in your situation.

Good luck! I'm interested to see how it goes, as my kids are just about the same age as yours, so if yours can do it, maybe mine will hold up as well!!

Don't change your attitude for that day. Going comando could just spoil things for you. If you're vets, you know where everything is and dont need to get psyched up just because this day is longer.
