Going to WDW from 5/14-5/21. It's our first visit. Where can I get information about the MK fireworks. I know that they are only certain nights. Where is the best place to watch the fireworks? Deb
This should help you out. If you click on the number on each day, you can see when the parades and fireworks are held. Looks like the Wishes fireworks are running every night during your stay, but the Spectromagic parade is only running on the 14th, 17th, 20th, and 21st... you should plan to be in the Magic Kingdom on at least one of these nights-- Spectromagic is not to be missed, as is Wishes.
As far as spots go, I prefer to be somewhere on Main Street for Wishes-- really anywhere along the street is fine. I just love to see the fireworks framing Cinderella Castle.
For Spectro, you'll hear a thousand different opinions, but I prefer to watch Spectro from the less crowded Frontierland/Liberty Square areas, then walk to Main Street for the fireworks. If Spectro starts at 9:00, it takes about 20 minutes for it to work its way over to Frontierland. It usually ends about 9:40, then you can easily walk to Main Street for Wishes.

Main Street is the best spot. Sometimes you hear that you can view them from anywhere in the park but certain spots are blocked by trees. We prefer Main Street or the walkway to Tomorrowland, that way you get to see Tinkerbell fly by.
