MK Fireworks Dessert Party June Booking Question

We'll be down in June and our 180 day booking window for dining opened weeks ago but still no option to book the fireworks dessert party. We're hoping for the Garden View and I've been stalking My Disney Experience since waiting for it to pop up. Anyone out there know when these things get announced? The time of day they're announced? Want to be able to jump right on it. Thanks for any tips and happy new year to all!

I booked for November 22 on July 4th. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason, other than when they set the times for the fireworks.

IME when the MK dessert party bookable dates get off the 180 window, it can be inconsistent as to when they get added down the road. Unfortunately there's just no way to know for sure.

But on the positive side, the Plaza Garden viewing version has a TON of capacity and will not typically sell out right away. This is one that I think you can get away with not "stalking" daily. I'm not saying ignore it, but you only lightly need to pay attention, from my perspective.

You can always tweak the title and subject of this thread to be a "June (or Summer) 2018 MK Dessert Party Watch Thread" and use the collective eyeballs of fellow DISers to help. There are many in your same situation watching the topic.
