MK Fireworks Dessert Parties - Confused!

In the past we’ve been told no even for the special order allergy plate. Our son ate as much as he could this time and took one cookie (eating it on the way). It never hurts to ask though. It was kind of dark in the plaza garden area so I don’t think desserts would be a good idea there (crowded).

I was thinking I had read that for some parties people were encouraged to take stuff because it was going to get thrown out. Not sure what they can do with food that’s been out for a couple hours. I leave the next morning so thought it would be a quick breakfast, which is why I asked.
