Mk, fireworks and Spectromagic in Jan.

I wonder if anyone has any imput about this. We want to go to the Cal. Grill for dinner and it would be nice to see the fireworks from there. From what I could tell the Spectro. parade is usually an hour before the fireworks but in Jan. if they have it, it is only on Sat. (found the historic hours once with parades and stuff but can't find it again!??Disney still does not have Dec hrs up yet as of this morning) Would it be possible for us to get to Cal Grill in time for a Ps for the fireworks? how long is the parade, if we saw it from the closest to the exit point would we still be late to the PS? anyone know if they usually only have the fireworks once a week in Jan. ( or where I found the historical hrs that I can not find now?) I'm guessing you can not see the parade from the Grill. If the ps won't work out for both, should I plan on the Ps for C. Grill on another night and forget the fireworks from there or forget the parade ( saw it years ago but not recently), which is nicer.

While I'm at it, which view of the fireworks is better Cal. Grill or Ohana and what can you do to get the best seat for seeing them at either place.
