MK Engagement Photo Session w/DPS?

Hi everyone! I've been browsing the boards for awhile, but this is my first post as I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

I recently got engaged (!!!) and my fiancé and I are heading to Disney World in about a month. Because his best friend got engaged there, he wanted to do something different so he brought WDW to our house so he could still make my dream come true of getting engaged in front of Cinderella castle.

Since we are going in October, we want to have our engagement photos done there. But my fiancé doesn't want to use an outside photographer (not exactly sure why). So my question is: can we do an engagement session with Disney Photography Services in the Magic Kingdom? I know it's changed over the years and am wondering what the most recent "rules" are. Has anyone had a session in the MK and have any advice? I would definitely appreciate it!

I recently inquired about engagement photos with Disney Event Photography. They do them in any resort or EPCOT, HS, or AK. No MK :-( Be careful trying to bring an outside photographer into MK, since they are technically not allowed. I have seen some outside photographers do it, but some won't because of the rules. Good luck and let me know what you decide! (We are still trying to decide as well!)
