MK Elements Swap:COMPLETE

Ok, I'm trying to get the pictures to work for me. . .I may be the only person on earth who didn't have a photobucket account! But, now I do!!

I took these pics last night when I was really tired, so they're not the greatest pics ever. The only paper I had to lay them on that was close by was a sheet of purple. . .it looks just great with the Magic Kingdom and Pooh ones, huh?? I think it's hard to see some of the embellishment from these pics, so I tried to describe them a little. I hope they look ok!

You know I didnt even notice the purple paper until I re-read this one. :rotfl: I was too busy looking at the elements.

Great job. I love the Liberty Tree one - and I am getting one of those!

What cart did you use to make the lanterns?

Thanks! The lantern is from HEA, in the Snow White section (with a dwarf, maybe Grumpy). They were quite hard to do so small (on the tree), but the one on the title was much easier because it was larger.

Packages arrived from New England Eeyore, SIOH, Michellepooh, Mischief_Managed, and MichiBelle.

Here are my 2 groups:
Wishing well:
I used a gold foil paper that didn't photograph well - it is embossed on both pieces. The wishing well has a pocket made by the embossed gold paper that the bucket tag fits into.

Spectromagic:
All of these are heat embossed in red, purple, green, blue, silver, and gold on the 2nd layer. I also inked the edges in silver.

Rebecca, I love both groups. What a neat way to tie the actual item into the element. I love the well being a pocket and the bucket being a tag. That is just too cool. Never would have thought of that on my own, but I am certainly going to lift it. :thumbsup2

They are actually from the Happily Ever after cart- they are icons for Cinderella- I cut 2 of the wishing wells- one regular and 1 shadow- on the regular one I cut off the bottom to use as the pocket and then used pop dots to attach it after embossing. The well I think I did at 5 inches and the bucket (also from Cinderella icons is at 2.5 inches.

Great pieces Rebecca.

I missed a few packages this morning - -estherhead and LaWanna's packages arrived.

I did open everything (took 2+ hours to open and photo!) You are all going to be so pleased with these items. Lots of creative work. I hope to get the photos in the slideshow tomorrow.

Yea! So glad you got my package. And thanks for working sooooo hard! This is a giant swap, eh? I can't even imagine. I would have sensory overload.

Postal today. So sorry it's running on the "late-ish" side. I've had to work 3 of every 5 days lately, and have been crazy busy getting ready for my trip to WDW on Saturday. You should get it by Friday or Saturday at the very latest.

Thanks. I guess I should check out the cart beyond the princesses, which is the only things I have made from it! :lmao: That's too cute.

Yeah, glad it got there. I always sweat it once I hand it over to "them" (my father's a letter carrier, so I should be more respectful - but sometimes I am amazed stuff reaches it's destination).

Here are my last two:

Main Street. I wasnt sure what colors to go with but i love this CM paper. I also wasnt sure about mixing the patterns but I think they look good.

Mad Tea Party. the teacup is a shaker box. everything is very stickled. I used the Glitz ones and wasnt impressed with the chunky-ness.

Everything that was just posted is great!!

JLD - I like the mixed patterns. I think they go together well.

Susie - Where did you find the paper for the Town Square? It is perfect for that.
