We have never been to the Crystal Palace, but just ate at the LTT and we'd say it was a good value.
The meal (dinner) consisted of tossed salad with strawberry vinagrette, rolls brushed with honey, turkey with stuffing, ham, flank steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, mac and cheese, green beans and and apple cobbler a la mode. Soft drinks were included and platters of food are brought to your table and you can have as much as you wish. Everything was either good or very good.
The service was fine (not much to it, as we pretty much just ate what was put in front of us!).
The decor was colonial and the restaurant was a bit noisy (no carpet and many excited children), but about what you'd expect for a character meal. Our table was too small for all the plates they brought out, but we managed to get it all squeezed in.
The characters at our meal (October 3rd, 2003) were Minnie Mouse, Chip or Dale (perhaps both), Pluto, and some Raccoon (I think from Pochahantas). They all came to our table multiple times.
Our meal (for 2) came to $55 with tax and tip. By the way, a 15% tip is automatically added to your bill (we threw in another 5%).
