I am trying to decide where to eat at the MK on our upcoming trip. We are going to be there over Christmas, and are wanting the trip to be as festive as possible. Now to my question... We are wanting to try some new restaurants this trip. The only restaurant in MK that we haven't eaten at is Tony's Town Square. We keep skipping this, because it gets so many bad reviews, plus the fact that we don't eat that many meals in the MK. There's just too many good restaurants a monorail, or boat ride away. We are thinking of eating lunch and dinner in the park this time. I'm thinking either The Plaza Rest., or CP for lunch and LTT for dinner. Would you substitute one of these for Tony's? Is it worth skipping one of the others for? Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

My DH and I enjoy CRT for lunch or dinner. The castle is always magical.

Well, we haven't tried Tony's for some years but add us to the group that won't be trying it again soon...too many other great choices a monorail ride away. We like LTT and CRT for lunch rather than dinner. The Plaza is very good for either as long as you're fine with sandwiches and/or salads for dinner.

I didn't care that much for Tony's. Enjoyed LTT and the castle, but haven't been to the CP. I won't eat at Tony's again.

Plaza is a nice, casual little place. I loved their Green Salad with Chicken & my son had a fabulous rueben w/ german potato salad. We'd eat there again.
Never tried Tony's either, because of the close proximity of really great sit-downs at the resorts.

Why does it seem that while MK is such a wonderful park the food choices are pretty bad? Tony's is a must miss for me and the rst are the kind I eat at because I'm too hungry to go anywhere else.

It does seem odd that there aren't better/more sit down restaurants at this park. Good question!

We tried the Plaza Restaurant in June for the first time and really enjoyed it. The sandwiches are huge and really good and it's a nice place to sit and relax!!::yes::
