MK departure - bus vs monorail

Our group plans to leave at different times on our MK day. The later group will take an Uber/Lyft to our offsite rental. My thoughts were to either get a pickup from the TTC or take a bus from MK to a Disney resort and rideshare from there. I’ve been checking the apps and price seems about the same from TTC and closest resort. At park close on a weeknight, is one option typically a shorter line than the other - buses vs monorail?

I would just walk to Contemporary or Grand Floridian for the ride share. No transportation option needed.
