My tentative game plan is to grab lunch to eat outside on Main Street and enjoy the Main Street Philharmonic that plays at noon.

Any counter service ideas in this area?

Otherwise, we can just grab a coffee/snack and listen.

Any other great CS lunch ideas in MK? We are only interested in CS for lunch. Would like to grab something and sit outside.

Casey's is right on Main St. You can grab a dog and sit outside listening to the piano player. Very fun.

I second the Casey's idea.:thumbsup2
If this doesn't work for you, try a snack from the bakery or the ice cream parlor, both on Main Street.
If you don't go to Casey's, my personal CS suggestion is Columbia Harbor House in Liberty Square.

I also vote for Columbia House. We ate there last week for the 1st time and that ham sandwich with broccoli slaw was soooooooooo good!!!!!!! What I wouldn't give for one now!

Well Casey's would be great for Dbf, but I dont eat hot dogs-any place for me to grab a turkey sandwich?

If it's not too far away, I'm willing to grab something and walk it over to Main st.

Is Columbia House CS or TS?

Also, any good ideas on where to picnic on Main Street? I'd really like to sit and watch/listen to the Main St. Philharmonic.

I love Main Street Bakery. The chocolate cakes there are to die for:lovestruc . Maybe you could have lunch elsewhere and get your dessert here

I don't think there is anywhere you can "picnic". All of the grassy areas have a little fence around them. Everywhere else there will be people walking all over. There are great tables outside of Casey's, the Plaza restaurant and down by the "Rose" garden (I think that is what it is called). Anyway, you can grab a sandwich "to go" from Columbia Harbor house and stroll over towards Casey's.

Have fun.

For one thing, I've never liked CHH myself. Lots of fried stuff, and it smells like fried stuff in there. Second, it's a bit of a walk from Main St. Far closer is the Bakery on Main St. which has a selection of sandwiches and baked goods. They are kind of set of for Grab and Go. We often stop there and grab somethign on our way out of the park at night to take back to our resort rooms, so it woul dbe the perfect place to grab some food to eat outside. There are a number of benches on Main St. to eat outside, and tables over by thePlaza. I'm not excatly sure where you are looking to see the performance. I wouldn't bother going all the way over to CHH. Oh, and the Bakery has great chocolate chip cookies! (and other goodies) I'm almost positive they have a very good turkey sandwich there.

Thank you-I didnt realize there was limited seating for lunch on Main St!

Maybe we'll grab a snack to listen to the music and get lunch elsewhere.

I thought you could get your entire meal here (although I haven't, yet-has anyone else?). My understanding was that they had some sandwiches and salads. Can anyone verify?

Yes they do. But I thought it may be a bit much balancing everything lol. We usually have a hot CS meal elsewhere and head here a bit later on for dessert.
