We have never been to WDW the week of Thanksgiving but this year will be there on Friday the 28th(just for one day before our cruise). Is it total insanity to consider going to MK that day? Are crowds so unbelieveable we won't be able to do much? Thanks for your help!

I've never toured during this time frame, either. I'll just bump this back to page 1 for you so that you can get an answer to your question.

We were in MK last Friday after Thanksgiving. My DH DD9 DD4 and My sister's family (DS, DBIL, DN 4) I had everything planned out based on the unofficial guide and our own preferences. Here's what we did: Had ressies at CRT for 8:05. After breakfast we were first at rope drop into fantasyland. We managed to do ALL of fantasyland and tomorrowland in under 2 hours (waits were minimal) After the first 2 hours we went to do the other side of the park. As we walked thru fantasyland the lines were extremely heavy (but hey, we had done those already):bounce: Between Fast Passes and getting to the park at rope drop, we saw all of our must sees and many of our would like to sees before 3pm.
I think the trick is to go early and have a plan. This is not the day to try meandering thru the park (unless, of course you aren't that interested in rides and just want to soak in the atmosphere-not that there's anything wrong with that:teeth: )
