MK closing at 6pm in October?

I just checked Oct 1 week and MK is closing at 6 a couple of nights. Isn't that real early for it to close? Will the hours most likely change? It didn;t even say extra magic hours for that night either.

Are those the nights of MNSSHP? The park does close at 6 on those nights.

MK closes early on the nights of 'hard ticket' special events such as MNSSHP (Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party). During October, there are usually two or three MNSSHP nights each week. You would have to purchase a separate ticket for that event, and then can stay in the park 'til c. 12:00 for the party.

Most likely the nights they close at 6 p.m. are the nights of the MNSSHP, which runs from 7 p.m. - midnight (you need a separate party ticket to be admitted). Check out http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/halloween.htm for more info on the party dates & specifics.
