now that Sept info is coming out, I've had to make some changes in my plans. Looking for a TS breakfast in or near MK. We're already going to Kona for dinner 1 night - gotta have my Kona Chowder! Had dinner once at CP and REALLY didn't like it but maybe breakfast is better? Chef Mickey's? Is there a breakfast that doesn't have characters?

TIA!

I have been to breakfast at CP and 1900 Park Fair. I have done dinner at Chef Mickeys. I would HIGHLY rec. CP for breakfast. I love the buffet selection and if you can get the earliest reservation and get into the MK before the park officially opens, then you can get awesome pics of the castle.

I love CP for breakfast, I highly recommend it. I have never had CM or 1900 so I can't give you an opinion on those two.

We almost always do CP for breakfast and lunch. The food is very good, it is a nice break in the day (especially for lunch) and it is an easy way to meet characters.

We've done CM and Park Faire both good but not in the park.

I would suggest Crystal Palace for breakfast..yummy..

But if you don't want charachters ...how about wispering canyon at the wilderness lodge? We enjoyed our breakfasts there.

I would suggest the Concourse Steakhouse..we loved our meals there too...but it is (going to be) no longer....:sad2:

I had the same experience at dinner at CP only we hated it and didn't go back until last year for breakfast. I have to say it was FABULOUS!! We can't wait to get back there this year! Give it another try and I think you will be happier.

In or near MK:

Chef Mickey's - buffet, I wasn't that impressed. It was loud and crowded and I felt like the characters were really rushed.

Kona's - always a great choice, love the Tonga Toast!

Ohana's - family style character breakfast with Lilo and Stitch

Crystal Palace - buffet, love love love CP for breakfast. We have never eaten there for lunch or dinner. We go to CP for breakfast on every trip, sometimes twice! You can get into the park earlier. You get great, crowd free pictures of main street and the castle. Great food, not too crowded, and a lot of time with the characters.

Grand Floridian Cafe - similar to Kona (10-12 price range and no characters)

I'm sure I've missed some but these are the breakfasts that I've experienced.

Of course, there's always Main Street Bakery..... :)
