MK Attractions w/o Listed Wait Times

Anyone have any guidance or tips for MK attractions that don't have official posted wait times?

I'm referring to characters such as: Snow White, Mary Poppins, Aurora, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Minnie, Buzz, Merida, Alice & White Rabbit, Tigger, Pooh, Tiana & Naveen, Gaston, Woody & Jessie, Peter Pan, etc.

And also attractions such as: Tiki Room, Arcade, Tom Sawyer, etc.

Why doesn't Disney post wait times for these characters? Are their M&Gs just more informal? Which of these tend to have wait times, and which don't?

If you get on line for one of these characters during their "set," but don't reach the front of the line by the end of the set, what happens? Do you just have to stay in line until the next appearance if you want to meet the character, or will a CM "close" the line at some point to make sure that that doesn't happen?

Most characters have (relatively short) waits to see them, unlike a ride with a queue you can see the line for most of these characters and decide if it's worth your time. The characters take breaks, if you're in line you can stay and wait.

With regards to the listed attractions, the wait is the time until start to the next show, or in the case of Tom Sawyer Island, the time to the next boat to the island. The CM at the attraction entrance would be able to give you a rough estimate of how long until the next show.

Just ask the character handler how long they think the wait is and then decide if that's something you're willing to wait for. If you go to Kenny the Pirate's website, you'll get a pretty good idea of what to expect as far as character wait times go.

The character handlers will cut off the line when all the guests can be accommodated for that set. So just because you see a short line doesn't mean you'll be able to join it. You don't have to worry about not meeting a character if you've been allowed to enter the line for that character...the handler will cut you off if the line is too long to accommodate all guests during that set (or in the case of Epcot, will tell you that you won't make it in during the current set, so you'll know going in you have to wait).

The ones I bolded rarely have waits. Touring Plans Lines app has estimated waits. All 0-4 minutes right now, lol.
