Mk Am Celebration

Hey guys I'm new to the boards but def. not new to Disney... anyway I remember a few years ago going to Disney and arriving at MK before it opened
All the characters came riding in on the train and danced and sang songs does MK still do this? If so are there special days/times I am going this coming Sept . and want to make sure I don't miss this opening celebration!!

Hello! Yes the train station welcome till occurs every morning..last time i checked it happened everyday at 8:48 AM except for thursdays when it is at 7:48!

I guess by "Thursdays" you mean AM EMH.

There is no guarantee that EVERY Thurday will continue to be AM EMH for MK... or that 9am is "always" the "regular-hours" opening time, so its best to just say the the Rope Drop will be held at approx. 12 minutes before the park opens on regular hours days,
and, on AM EHM days, its performed ONLY for the AM EMH guests, at approx. 12 minutes before the park opens for EMH.

I saw this for the first time in May! SOO CUTE! I can't wait to see it again when I got for free dining next month!

Though we absolutely HATE getting up early on vacation (we typically get to a park around 11am or noon), we would love to see this at least one time. I think we're gonna attempt it on our upcoming trip.
