MK After Hours - Tiana Before?

Howdy howdy - I’ll be attending MK After Hours from 10 pm - 1 am May 19; Tiana’s is NOT included in the offerings at the event. I can, however, get into the park as early as 7 pm before the event starts.

What is my best bet to ride Tiana‘s between 7-10 pm? I will not have Lightning Lane; have read conflicting reports that I may be able to purchase LL with just an After Hours pass, but don’t know that I want to do that with only being there for a few hours of regular operating time /end of day.

I was thinking I could go during the 9 pm fireworks show (which would be a bummer to miss), or could head to Tiana’s immediately after fireworks end. Any sense of how long I might wait in line if I go that route?

I was in your shoes and chose to purchase the LLMP. Put it to good use touring that entire side of the park so that when AH officially started we could focus on fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

I was there in mid-March but it was a cooler evening. Tiana was basically a walk on later in the evening. It was the beginning of a spring break week but the weather may have been a factor in the short line. I can't remember exactly when I rode it, I may have put in the general after hours thread. I know I got in at 7 and rode JC, Pirates, and Tiki birds first. I didn't watch the first fireworks.

Is Tiana’s definitely not open during the After Hours event? I will be there at the same time, and we were hoping to be able to go on with minimal waiting! Also, I thought people only attending After Hours events were not eligible to purchase LLMP for that day since they don’t have a regular park ticket?

I was curious about this too! My friend and I have tickets to the AH event on May 5th and we don't have day tickets so we will arrive at 7:00 also. I'm thinking 9:00 during the first fireworks is the best option. I'm okay missing those since we saw them last year. But if anyone else has a better idea I'm open to hearing it. The park is open until 10:00 so maybe 9:55 would be better?

It is not currently included in After Hours.

As for purchasing LLMP without a regular park ticket for the day, I thought so as well. But the system did let me purchase it, and I was able to use it from 7-10pm with zero issues. Must be a loophole. Maybe wouldn’t work in all cases depending on the type of tickets you have for the whole trip? I did have a two day single park ticket that I used the day before and the day after my After Hours ticket (at HS and Epcot), so in essence I did have a park ticket that was valid for that day and I guess the system didn’t have a way of knowing I wouldn’t be using it that day. But I was able to buy LLMP for all three days even though it was a 2 day ticket.
