MK After Dinner Time on Thanksgiving

We have dinner ressies at one of the hotels for 6pm and I was thinking of trying to go to MK afterwards seeing how it will be open til 1am. Anyone been there after say 8pm...how bad are the crowds as the night goes on??? Will it be worth a try for a few hours or is it a zoo still at night???

Since 1am is not actually very "late" in MK terms, and Thanksgiving is so very busy there, you will encounter a sea of other guests.

Long lines, FP's gone for the day, shoulder-to-shoulder for parades and fireworks... holiday traditions at MK.
