The earlier or later a park is open, the less crowded it will be.

I'd definitely take advantage of the late night. It won't be empty, but a ton of people will be leaving once the fireworks are done. A lot of people won't want to stay out that late

that's my thoughts exactly, I cant get a fp for mine train, but I was on the planning site and he said avoid it at any costs, it will be so crowded its a waste of a day..

We were there till midnight this past Sunday and the last couple hours were not crowded. It was cold, though so that probably kept some people away. The crowd calendar showed it as an orange day, but it was more like yellow.

Park will be less crowded for sure; it's that next morning that will catch up with you! We had one of those 3:00 am EMH's a couple weeks ago...only made it to 1:00!
