Mk 2/15/03

We were at the MK on Sat., 2/15, could not believe the crowds!! Was anyone else there at this time?? We will definitely go back at a differenct time of year but was wondering if this was a normal crowd and we are just not used to crowds??? Still had lots of fun and from there went on the Disney Wonder -- WONDERful time!!!!! Wish we were headed back now!

Welcome back - did you just spend the one day on property before your cruise?

We flew in Thur, 2/13 and went to Epcot. Fri 2/14 went to Universal and Sat went to MK -- then on to Port Canaveral for the cruise!! Was wonderful and are now back in the deep freeze! We were with my husband's entire family -- 19 in all.

In response to your question, there are a couple of things to note: first, Saturdays are always crowded at MK, this from cast members I know who work there, second the 15th of February is usually the start of one of the peak times as it is the start of mudweek, presidents week, winter break, whatever the schools call it, and the kids have a week off from school so that is the time that a lot of families go to WDW to escape winter weather, Spring Break is right on the heels of that and so on through Easter. We have always gone the first week of February and found the crowds to be significantly smaller!
