Sorry, I know I've seen this question answered but am not finding it now. We are sailing in two weeks on a very last minute trip (modified from a January 2019 reservation). The last time we sailed you couldn't book these online but I know you can now. There are four listed for our 3 night sailing and they are all "sold out." Will there be additional openings in those same sessions once we board (we're Platinum and will be boarding first thing), or will we only be able to book different ones? I am most interested in three that are online and sold out - mixology, martini tasting, and the stem-to-stern wine tasting. Thanks for any insight on this.

There will multiple additional drink sessions available to be booked once on-board. We booked mixology ourselves but they rattled off a list of other sessions available when we hit Guest Services when boarding our 4-night in February. The one we booked was not one of the sold-out online listed but was still held in Skyline.

Thanks. So to clarify @hardis5, were there spaces available once you boarded in the sessions that were listed as sold out online?

On the advice of a bartender, in the pre-online booking days for tastings, we walked-up to the tequila one (fully booked) to ask if they had a couple of extra slots. He said that they typically prep for a couple extra people, and also people will forget / no-show, so if we were there before any other walk-ups - we had a good chance of getting in. We were there 15min or so before the tasting started. And yes, we did get in no problem! Worth a try, may not always work, but worth a try.

There will be additional sessions on board. Go to GS first and they will tell you to sign up there for a session or direct you to location to do so that is staffed with bartenders.

In our experience, there will be additional classes available when you board, and there will be more spaces in the "sold out" classes. On boarding day on our Nov cruise, the schedule was posted in La Piazza (the carousel bar). There was a line, so I took a pic with my phone. Hubby and I discussed and we just called guest services and we were able to get added to every class that we wanted. HTH
