Okay, midterm's done and I'm roaming the halls. How productive of me. I just can't listen to that man say another freaking word.

You were way too obvious.

There can be no adding of movies to the list. Rob and E already came up with waaaay more than we'll ever have time to watch. I've seen Ferris Bueller. That's actually my baby sister's nickname because all she does is skip school. I have a friend named Sloane too, from that movie.

I've also seen Monty Python and it made me want to kill myself.

There WILL be adding of movies to the list. Not enough time?!? Sheesh, you've got your entire life spread out before you. I didn't think there was a time limit attached or nuthin', but if there was... If you watched just 3 of those movies each night, it'd be over in three weeks, tops. I mean, it's summer - what else are ya gonna do?!

That's really too bad. So much of recent (20 years worth or so) comedic movies arguably started with that, and so many movies in all genres continue to pay homage or make references to it, even kiddie stuff like VeggieTales. But saying all that, there are people who just don't 'get' Monty Python. KAMommy is one of them. They like their comedy with, oh, an actual point. I'm not so discriminating, so I can laugh my head off like a loon when somebody mentions african swallows and coconuts.

I got "Pan's Labyrinth" on DVD the other day. I may get to watch it this weekend.

We simply cannot be friends anymore. I fart in your general direction.

Now I've got "The Night Chicago Died" stuck in my head.

Sorry about that. My personal early-70s "story song" is 'MacArthur Park'. I just Googled it for the lyrics, and had forgotten that Donna Summer did a disco cover of it, which made an already bad song very hideous. Weird Al has a good parody of it called "Jurassic Park" - which is about ???

Ciao!

What is this, a lawyer joke? An ethical lawyer....so amusing! JK VZ, JK.
.

No, it's an ethical Tiffer joke! :lmao:

Oh I have to pick a PJ movie!!!!!!!!! Let's see, do we have Princess Bride on the list?

How about The Birdcage?

Or if both of those are on, Smokey and the Bandit........."I want some hush puppies daddy"...........:rotfl:

I don't see "So I Married an Axe Murderer" anywhere on that list. Now that is a classic movie!:thumbsup2

I would apologize but I just can't. That movie was painful to watch.

You are evil. No, you do not have to pick a movie. The list is done. And Princess Bride didn't make the cut.

I have some things to take care of tonight and then the big performance is tomorrow and Sunday (I trust you'll all be there) so I probably won't be back until Sunday night or Monday. Have a good weekend everyone!

How about St. Elmo's Fire??

Ducky's shoes were cute

I forgot about his shoes. :rotfl: He was a riot.

"We don't have none of this stuff in the boy's room! Wait a minute! We don't got none of this... we don't got doors on the stalls in the boy's room, we don't have, what is this? What's this? We don't have a candy machine in the boy's room!"

And no matter how many times I see that movie, I feel so sorry for him at the end. :sad1:
