Yep...it's true!!! Now, not those funny looking, gardener from Holland shoes laughing: )...these are really sweet khaki/soft pink sandals. Okay....I'll also admit....they are VERY comfortable shoes!!!

I am speechless. Literally speechless. And that as you may know is a rare occurance. I knew you would come over to the dark side. I am just....wow. Never expected this.

Peanuts are in the bean family, and are not nuts. Nuts are defined as "any hard shelled fruit or seed of which the kernel is eaten by mankind".

So am I not a nut then?

I still like peanut for PJ , she just seems like a peanut.

Hi nuts! What a gorgeous day! Emily's Communion was beautiful. She looked soooo pretty. Can't wait to show you some pics.

On a sadder note, however, Brock's grandfather died. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster of a day. He was a wonderful man, and I feel lucky to have known him.

I can't wait to see the pics, Michele, I bet she looked adorable. Sorry to hear about the grandfather. I know how hard that is. How is everyone doing?

Oh, get this...my mother has now decided that she wants to move to Georgia after all (I have an aunt and uncle there, and she originally didn't want to move there). She's thinking of Rome or Athens. She thinks I'll like Athens because "it's a college town...lots of people your age." Um...isn't college usually 18-22 year-olds? I'm almost 33; how is that "my age?"

Not that I wouldn't get along with them, but...say it's an 18-year-old, I'm almost twice that person's age...

Thank you so much. We are doing as well as can be expected. We're all a little edgy and sad. There's always so much going on here, we didn't get down to see him as often as we would have liked, so there's a little guilt going on that he didn't see the girls much... I am very happy though that my girls got to know their great-grandfather. He really was a special man. Would you believe my kids still have 3 great-grandmothers and 1 great-grandfather living? I think that's pretty unusual, and they are really lucky.

How was Spiderman? We can't wait to see it!

That is pretty unusual. How nice for the girls. I got to know two of my great grandmothers pretty well and I have always been grateful for that.

I LOVE warm weather! I'm always cold - I need it to be about 80 degrees before I'm comfortable. On Friday, I noticed it was 74 degrees according to the sign at the bank that I was driving past. Yet I was wearing a heavy long-sleeved shirt and a sweater coat and I was still cold! Today it's supposed to be 68...I'm wearing 2 shirts and a sweater and I'm just barely able to tolerate it.

Last summer, I turned on my AC exactly twice, for an hour or two at a time. The rest of the season, I just opened the windows and turned on a fan. Even then, I was cold.

That's me too. My mom's like that too. I'm always cold. Even if I'm perfectly warm I still feel cold. That probably makes no sense.

You should see that place, everything was pink....the walls the carpet and ruffles on everything. It was total overkill. It looked like it must smell of old lady
