I think he's mad. He sure sounded it. Right now I can't imagine calling him again. I don't know what exactly is wrong with my car, other than it's 5 years old and has 76k on it. I need a timing belt/other belts, water pump, spark plugs, oil change...

I thought for a minute that maybe I wouldn't have to drive all the way out to the Price Chopper, but I have to get gas, too. I'll be halfway there, so I might as well keep going.

I understand that an RA is not just there to ENFORCE campus rules but that IS part of their jobs (at least it was when I was in school). It's obvious that what the soccer players did violated some school rules (as well as Ohio state law) or the RA wouldn't be concerned about what was going to happen to them. Seems like he would have had to issue some J's (judicials) anyway (or whatever they call disciplinary efforts at Xavier).-- Rob

Well there is going to be a hearing. They are definitely going to have to pay a fine and do community service. The hearing will determine whether or not their still on the soccer team or still at Xavier.

I know you probably got the same advice, but I am sooo jerked reading yr post, I just have to slam this one out!
Keep a detailed diary--times, date, place, names of corroborating witnesses & those perpetrating, quotes--of all yr interactions with these idiots. If you have a small voice activated recorder, take it with you & record them. You may have to go to yr town or city police--at least to have this on record.

Thanks, Jean. I think they might just need that intervention. On the other hand, we're out of here in a week and a half. Live and let live I guess. We did make a "timeline" of everything that happened and if I had had a recorder we would have recorded every lovely thing they said because I'm sure they're going to deny it all.

You girls did nothing wrong, you did exactly what you should have done.

If they hadn't been being you know whats then none of this would have happened. How is that in any way your fault.

Because I blame myself for everything? Who knows. I guess I can see that it's not our fault but I still feel guilty because us calling the police is potentially going to effect the rest of their lives if they get kicked out of school.

I have to say I just passed by one of them coming back into the building and it wasn't bad at all. I was on the phone with my sister because I wanted to look distracted if I saw them so I just kept talking to her and didn't make eye contact. So if he was glaring at me or anything I didn't see it. We are having a meeting later today with all involved to discuss what happened and what we could have changed. Talk about an awkward situation!

I also just emailed the housing director and told her I would like to set up a meeting with her. She's probably already aware of the situation since there is going to be a hearing. If I don't like what the RA says today or if he tries to give us a hard time for calling the cops again I will definitely be in contact with her.

Sorry that was such a long post, I've just got a lot on my mind.

WHAT???!!! I am honestly shocked. I really don't think I've ever met someone who doesn't like ice cream. I mean some people would prefer cake but that's not to say they don't like ice cream. I am so confused. You like it in no forms? Soft serve? Ice cream bars? Milkshake? Anything?

I just splashed diet coke in my eye. Don't ask me how it happened because I don't exactly know. I can say that it doesn't feel particularly good though if anyone was planning on trying it.

The final went really well, thanks. I am glad to have it over.

I don't know when the hearing is. I hope I don't have to go to that because that sounds boring. We just have a meeting later on with just the RA and the guys and us to discuss how we all could have handled the situation better. I just know they're going to deny everything and we're going to feel like idiots.
