I've only driven through WC when driving to Helena from Great Falls.

Why?

We spent a few days there back when I was around 10 or 11. We stayed with an extended family member (insert dueling banjo music) he lived in the middle of no where outside of Wolf Creek. Generator for power at night, Outhouse, I can't remember what it is called, but he had dug a hole in the ground over an under ground spring for his refrigeration needs.

We went fishing in the back country in a maze of streams and brooks, this is where my Father to taught me to Stream fish for Trout.

My cousins and I went snake hunting,

I would have to say those few days are in my top 10 vacation memories

We are down in the Orange County area so about 40 miles from Malibu. We haven't been up there since the fire, but since it was around the Pepperdine University Area I would think it doesn't look to good.


Yes, It was great, a ton of good vacation memories

Okay, so, for one of my classes I have to find as many parents as possible and ask them questions about parent teacher conferences. So I thought to myself, where can I find as many parents as possible??? Hmmmm.....the DIS boards of course! So, if anyone has time to answer these questions it would be infinitely appreciated by me. Or you could just answer one or two of them. If not, that's fine too. I'll just make up the answers.

1. Describe the environment the teacher set up for the conference. Were there things you liked/disliked? Things that made you comfortable or uncomfortable?

2. Did the teacher share specific observations of your child with you? How were these observations shared? (verbal stories, work samples?)

3. Did the teacher ask for input from you prior to the conference?

4. How long was the conference? Was this a sufficient amount of time?

5. Was there anything you would change about the conference?
