Okay, it always boggles my mind when my DSis takes a piece of toast with her when she uses the bathroom.
I mean really, is it the ambience of the bathroom?
It's not like it's a palace in there. Occassionally, when I phone her, she will be having toast & tea, fine, then I'll hear the flush--good grief!


Well, now that I've tossed that one out, I guess I'll ramble back upstairs to bed.

Hmmm.....I find that highly offensive, Jean!!!! Seems to me it should be in the brand new Offensive thread I just started!!!!

I do not know when she's due. Dh got the news from another brother, and you know how men are about these details. When the last nephew was born, I had to have dh call back 3 times to get the right stats........first he neglected to make sure the baby truly was a boy, then I asked well how big was he, back to the phone, then I asked, well what did they name him and back again to the phone. When I asked how much hair he had, he said I'd have to wait to see him!

Toast and tea in the bathroom? Ick. That is one room in the house I just will not dine in. And the logistics now are getting to me. How to have toast and tea and flush? Without contaminating your toast or tea in some way? And why would you want to? Surely you really aren't so busy you must multitask to that extreme. Really this one is getting to me. I almost want to try it without actually eating it just to see how it'd be done!

Apparently, in ManLand a baby is a baby, is a baby.
If we left it that way & didn't see the baby in question, there might be a description forthcoming about year 3 or 4?
I've actually asked her re:logistics. The seat up problem is no biggie, her DH apparently doesn't know how to close the lid at all. I should add there is a counter top in close by. Okay, she drops trou 'multitasks' to completion. Up to wash hands & take tea cup to kitchen.
I am hoping this answers yr question.
Please tell me you are not going to take up this little habit!


Have you told Bertha that fish & company are not welcome after 3 days?

Well it looks like I went to sleep too early last night! Tea and toast...hmmm. I've been working breakfast which is 6am-noon so I've been tired. Now I'm on dinner though so that'll be much better for late night escapades.

Just a quick hello for now!
Dh is leaving later this afternoon, so I ahve to pay him some attention ya know.

Anyway, yesterday was interesting. Davy Jones had a wicked fight with his GF on the beach I did get a few shots of it. Maybe I'll post it later.

Also, later in the night a guest of one of the owners had a heart attack out in the courtyard. DH started giving CPR, he did have a pulse. We called 911, but from a cell phone, so it took way too long to get here. The police showed up first. I think he's okay, I'm trying to find out now.

I want to see these fight pictures. Actually it just really amuses me that while someone was having a "wicked fight" you were standing there snapping photos of it. I bet they LOVED that! Hope the other guy's okay. That must have been scary.

I think it's great you have a lot of books, as long as you read them.
My DD loves books! She reads at least 2-3 books a week. I wish I could do that. She's reading one now that is three times thicker than any book I've ever read. lol
