I have a friend, no honestly I do. his name is Dean, he and his girlfriend fly out today (in the air now i guess) to Florida for 2 weeks, i am really pig sick jealous. however, here is the hilariously funny bit, which takes the fed up look from my face.

He is a Manchester United
fan :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I shouldnt, I know.................... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: but... I :rotfl2: :rotfl2: can't ..... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: help :rotfl2: :rotfl2: it....

Oh dear my side was aching last night.

Up the Pool!

I'm sure deep, deep down you hope thay have a fantastic holiday ;)

I'm not a football supporter so I'm not sure what you mean ~ but I can guess!

I am a Liverpool fan too - season ticket holder - like you guys say UP THE REDS and poor old ManUtd

I had a little smile last night as well :teeth:

Ii's nice to see Liverpool doing so well at the moment and Man Utd in such trouble :bounce:

Hi too all the mighty red fans out there. On Tv last night (here in the UK) they sports personality of the year show was on. Old jose looked fed up when they went through the Euro final in May.

Nice to see Liverpool doing well without spending stupid money. I wonder how good Jose would be with out Romans cash. At least as a football fan I appreciated what Man united and Arsenal did without spending the 300 odd mill Roman has.

Cheers

Yes he looked a bit lost didn't he...he was a good manager at Porto without the cash so I think we have to give him credit for that, I still do not like the way he comes across but to be fair football aside he could be a genuine nice bloke.
It was nice to see them have the 5 European Cups on display.

To be honest if we had someone come in with the equivelant to Roman's cash I would be made up.

A massive injection of cash is always welcome, but it does reflect the sad state the game is in. It is highly unlikely that anyone other than Chelsea, Untied, Arsenal and Liverpool will ever win the league again (and the later 3 being the 3 most unlikely).

I got into a heated debate with a mate, who said that money does not guarentee the league, and while I agree with him to a certain extent, in the case of Chelsea it does guarantee, they are buying it.

While the fans still love it ,secretly there must be a number of fans who are dissapointed by the fact they had to buy it. I would be, although I would still be chuffed to bits, it would not be up there with the achievments of days gone by.

Cheers

I sit next to a "Man Who" fan and opposite a Chelsea fan. My life is great right now !!!!!!!! 9 points is not a problem - taken as read that the games in hand will be won.

Besides, it will be great to be able to finally have the WCC cup to add to all of the others. After all, tis the only one that the Mighty Reds do not have.

Rafa has proven this year, as has Martin Jol, that you do not have to spend 100`s of £millions£ to be competitive, and besides, we have seen teams throw away a 12 point lead between Xmas and May ( Newcastle anyone??), though that level of ineptitude is unlikely from the "Special One"

Getting away from that - How fantastic to see the mighty Pele on sports personality last night. ranks alongside the Matt Groening / Stephen Hawking comedy awards presentation as one of the TV highlights of the year.:cool1:

To be honest this season I would just be happy to see us mix it with Arsenal and Man Utd hopefully challenge for 2nd place, a few weeks ago this looked highly unlikely.
We can only pull back Chelsea gradually over a long period of time.

A few good signings in January would be nice.
