I'm beyond frustrated.
My daughter owns a Mix Max, which she loves, and we'd like to convert some of the DVDs we already own to a format that the Mix Max can play. First, we tried forever to get the files converted on Microsoft Encoder, to no avail. We finally gave up. Several people said they'd had good luck with pocket dvd wizard, so I paid for the program and attempted to use it last night. First DVD, Ratatouille, it worked for about 2 minutes, then gave me an error message. Next, Princess Diaries. This one encoded til about 70%, I got an error message about the audio, I pressed continue, and when it was done, the playback video and audio didn't match at all. Next, Snow Buddies. Nope, the "extension didn't match the file format." Finally, Bambi II. This one gave an error message that sounded like it couldn't encode it because of copywrite. How do people have success with this? I'm at a loss.
Anyone out there have any wisdom?
