DF and I are, hopefully:rolleyes1 , going to be at Disney during the christmas season and I had this really neat idea of doing an engagement photo session with my photographer, Misty. I was wondering if anyone else has done their engagement pics with her.

We were down in WDW for our planning session. I had my hair and makeup trial with Ana earlier that morning and we met Misty and her husband at the Wilderness Lodge around 5:00pm. We were there for a little over an hour and then headed to the Poly. Both Misty and her husband were great to work with.

I really thought it was important to do this before our wedding. It really gave both my DF and Misty a good idea of our working relationship. You get to know how she works and she gets to see how my DF and I are together.

We love the way the pictures came out (the one in my Avatar is from the Poly) and it gives you a much better idea of how things will be on your wedding day.

I also love that I had my hair and make up trial that morning. This way I was able to see how it looks in professional pictures.

Let me know what you decide and if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the info and suggestions. I won't be able to make a decision for a while because DF doesn't know if he will be able to get time off in December. If he does I think I am definately going to do this though.

We unfortunately didn't do any engagement pictures at all. After our wedding I was kicking myself because I loved Misty so much I wish I had. So I recently contacted her about doing an anniversary photo shoot and I think we are going to do it! :cool1:

We will really be purchasing her engagement package and she told me she does two hour blocks in the evening hours so you get some daylight and some sunset shots.

I know I am a dork since I am already married but am so excited to do it!

Emily - you definately have to do this. I think an anniversary shoot is a great idea. Your pictures were a major reason we chose to go with Misty - especially the one of you and you DH on the surry bike at The Boardwalk.

Will you be down in WDW for your anniversary. If so it is very close to our wedding day. Maybe we would bump into each other. If I were you I would also wear my wedding ears for some of your pictures.

Linda
