Misti as your Photographer??

Hey all!

I'm actually planning to book my date... like, this week! Oh I do hope tomorrow! Finally!! I've been planning to use Randy, although I had contacted both him and Misti early on after hearing so many rave reviews. They both have amazing photos, and I'm sure I'd be happy either way!!

I started wondering now about using Misti- because, it seems from experiences she's helped brides out when in a jam (I'm really worried about getting my dress buttoned- my husband is no help, and being a woman I'd feel comfortable asking for that! And since it's just us and our five year olds, it's an important thing to sort out! And I hear she knows about makeup too, which would be a big help I'm sure.) But also, she has 2 photographers, which seems really a nice thing. I'm waiting to hear if she allows any sort of additional hours later for her packages, as Randy did not. If she does, that would seal the deal for me to go with Misti, just because we are doing a morning ceremony, and I can't pay for photography all the way until fireworks!

Anyway- those of you that used Misti, could you share your experiences/thoughts?

loved her!!!! Misty and Nelio are great, they are husband and wife team and are so good. She helped me with my dress and I had two bridesmaids!!!

We are going to have photos on our anniversary with her as well.

One of my most dearest friends used her for her wedding and couldn't be happier. I attended and she was very helpful, my friend couldn't find her planner so Misty made announcements for her and moved the reception right along. Misty is so cute and friendly! I agree, it is very nice having a two person team.

Both Misti and Randy are A++++ Top-notch. I have have worked with them both on numerous weddings are they are the ultimate professionals. You can't go wrong with either choice- go with your gut!

I had Misty and it was like having one of my friends do our wedding photos. Not only did she help me out when my bustle broke but before our dessert party she touched up my make-up since she is also a make up artist.

Also, did you want to now if she did pics after the dessert party?? I don't know if it would be different since she did our dessert party but after the dessert party she went over to our resort (the wilderness lodge) and spent about another hour taking pictures around there. I am sure she can work something out with you.

ETA: I forgot about her husband!! Nelio was fantastic too. While Misty was taking pictures, Nelio was holding the umbrella over my head since it was pouring and he was following me around carrying my dress LOL

I'm in the process of booking Misty at the moment. Toni's pictures sealed the deal for me. I was considering just having DPS do everything but after seeing what she can do I just had to have her!

Signed our contract and sent the payment - she is lovely to speak to. I can't wait to work with her.
