Mistake on app/website or change of cruise itinerary?

Hi all, I booked a 3 night on the Fantasy 2 weeks ago, with one stop at CC. However, now when I look at my booking on the app and website, it says “3 Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral with 2 Stops at Castway Cay”. All other info is correct, dates, booking type etc. However, when I try and pretend like I’m booking the same cruise as a new customer, it still shows the one stop. Furthermore, in the app when I look at the itinerary, it still shows a day at sea. So, probably just a glitch? I’d love to get a second day but obviously I’m assuming not. Anyone ever experienced anything like this before?

I had something like that happen several years ago. The website showed we were going to a different port. It was changed back to the original one after a couple of weeks.

I also have a 3 night planned as well. I was curious, so I looked at all of 2020, and it does seem like nearly every 3 night sailing in 2020 is currently listed as a double dip. So, more than likely it's a glitch. Darn! The only sailings that aren't are the seasonal ones, and those out of Miami and other ports.

That cruise has been a double dip for months . We have been deciding on what date in August 2020 , to book a 3 night Castaway Cay double dip on the Fantasy since the summer time . There have always been 3 sailings in August 2020 with that itinerary , all back to back . August 22 - August 31 . Your dates have always been a double dip . We finally picked the August 28 -31 sailing on the Fantasy 3 night double dip , and that was back in August 2019. I think its pretty safe to say , you are going to Castaway Cay twice on your dates !

Boy, that is confusing. The website does lust it as a DD, but the map and itinerary show it as having a day at sea. That would be a bummer if you booked it thinking it was a DD and turned out not to be. I would call DCL to verify, unless you don’t care.

We booked the Aug 28 sailing, but I didn’t want another opportunity to watch the hurricanes and wonder if vacation was going to be bumped. ... And I didn’t warn my sister about Hurricane Irma before she went to St Thomas. Thankfully, the Marriott timeshare was sturdy and the company took wonderful care of them, even transporting them to Puerto Rico and lodging them at the Stellaris Resort (and giving them $ for other expenses).

We moved to a November cruise to relieve our concern.

Literally every 3 night is listed incorrectly as a double dip right now on the website, so I hope there won’t be too many disappointed people! I’m happy to get whatever time I can on that island.

Do you remember when you booked your cruise ? We had been looking at that cruise date because it did say 2 stops at Castaway Cay , now it just says 1 stop at CC , and a day at sea for the second day . Strange for sure ! That is kind of a strange itinerary , but doesn't sound to bad actually if some time on the ship is a draw .

It does show the Dream is scheduled for a CC day on the 23rd , and Fantasy for the 24th in August . So it would make sense that the Fantasy would not be at CC on the first day (23rd) of your cruise . Maybe the first whole day of your cruise , will just be "at sea" floating around the Caribbean instead of Nassau (or CC) ?

Do they ever allow 2 Disney ships at Castaway Cay the same day ? No , right ????

Might be worthwhile for you to change dates for a Double Dip 3 night , if you want to go to CC twice ?
August 25-28 and August 28-31 , that are still showing 2 stops at CC on the Fantasy , both 3 nighters out of Port Canaveral .
