misspelled name

My husband's name is misspelled on the cruise docs. Does this matter? It is correct on the written confirmation.

DCL had wrong birth date and address for DGM. I call them and corrected it. They did it over the phone and they were very nice. We had no problems.

We had triple checked the spelling of DH's name on everything BUT the cruise doc's. Which we noticed the night before we were supposed to leave. (duh?) We called DCL and they changed it in the computers and told him to correct it with pen on the doccuments. No big deal.

I just did exactly the same thing - checked a few hours before we leave. Double Duhhh! On our first cruise, our street was spelled incorrectly - they didn't do anything about that. But I wasn't sure about a name. Thanks.
