The town of Black Jack, Missouri, has narrowly defined the definition of family and will soon begin evicting unmarried couples with children from their homes.

This is another outraegous example of government intruding into the personal affairs of consenting adults and it sounds as if this is a thinly disguised attack aganist gay and lesbian families. It's a human rights outrage.

I read that earlier today. It's ridiculous. They are putting children out on the streets without a home. :sad2:

Looks like the town just put out an open invite to constitutional lawyers to challenge this.... Can you imagine how you'd feel if you already lived there :confused3 ugh!

There is another tread started today on this topic with some good replies. I've been posting on it.

I find this kind of action by a town morally reprehensible -- the very worst kind of hubris. It is reflective of all that is wrong with America -- the sense of entitlement, in this case directed toward the sense of entitlement that those in power thinks they have to impose their personal beliefs on people of all perspectives. :sad2:
