Missoni for Target

Just curious if anyone else was able to get a few things today. I tried online all morning and no luck untill later tonight. By then everything I wanted was pretty much gone. But I did get a few things at my local store earlier in the afternoon. I was glad I picked up a few thing because another women came right behind me and swooped up everything Missoni in site an ebayer I'm sure. I had my eye on one bag and she took all 4 on the hook. Anyhow I bought a few things and thought some of the stuff was very cute and got a few stocking stuffers out of the way.

So did you find anything fab?

Im visiting my dd in rapid city. We were in target today and i noticed missimo stuff but not our style.

No one was shopping for it that i saw.

I think you may be confusing the Missoni collection with there mossimo clothes. The Missoni is a limited edition designer collection created for target. Mossimo is an inhouse brand from target.

I had no luck what so ever. I could never get on the website and when I finally made it to my nearest Target everything was gone except a few houseware items, some paperclips, and a couple of little girl dresses.

sad to hear. i won't be able to get to target until at least friday. the website was down all day whenever i checked. i hope they re-stock or go after the ebay people for abusing it.

I didn't even know about it until I read an article about it on Yahoo. I ran over tonight and found a small Travel bag. I also got a pair of rain boots for my older DD. They didn't have any purses left, but they did have a lot of clothing left. I went about 10 minutes before closing, so I didn't get a chance to look around.

Don't feel so bad. I purchased a pair of the heels and it said size 7 on box when I got home I realized they are a 7 1/2, so they will be going back. Considering I saw so many people just grabbing stuff by the armfulls I'm sure that alot is going to be going back. I really liked the shoes lol so sad they're to big. Oh well it wasn't meant to be I guess.

I have my eye on a pair of flats, but I won't be able to go until I go home this weekend. I'm planning on getting there early Saturday morning, and I'm hoping they restock before then!

I was there at opening and noticed a crowd. I had to ask an employee what was going on LOL. Ladies were grabbing everything off the rack. Me--I'm not interested. I don't wear sweater material much in HI. I bet most of what I saw was going to Ebay.

Ha! I went this morning because I needed something for my class, and I have about an hour between dropping my daughter off at school and when I need to be in class. Any way, I was walking towards the shoe department because I was hoping there would be some sandals on clearance, when a woman walked in front of me, and blocked the entire aisle with her cart. I said excuse me twice, and finally moved her cart out of the way.

She said "Ummm ... that's my cart." "Yeah, I know, I'm trying to walk down this aisle" "Welllll, I'm looking at these shoes, and I don't want you to get any."

Seriously?!?! I personally don't like the look, but I guess if it's your thing, I could see being rude about it ... wait, no. Still can't.

OP, do you have any other Targets in your area. We have a Super Target and a regular Target within three miles of each other (which makes no sense, but whatever). I've noticed the regular Target has a different clearance system, and often, a lot more inventory. I ... might have a small issue with Target clearance, and spending most of my money there, but I don't think I'll be heading in the day a crazy new line comes out. Women are nuts, lol.

Often these limited edition designer offerings are not restocked. Actually, even if it's not a limited edition, they're often not restocked.

Well, that would explain the lady in front of me in line who was raving on and on about the girl outfits she was buying. I thought to myself, yeah, they're cute, but they're from Target. Guess I have to get out more!

There was hardly anything left in the ladies dept. when I went after work last night. What was left there was only about one of each. They still had some items in the pajama department too. Only two hats left in accessories dept., nothing else! More to choose from in the cosmetics dept. (headbands, barrettes, make up bags) although some of those items there were only one of each left too. Lots of the kids stuff left. I did see a woman grabbing stuff without even looking at it. It just makes me not really want it if I am going to be seeing myself coming and going in it.

Well except for a certain pair of shoes. If I wore dressier shoes, I'd sure be trying to get a pair that I saw.

Holy cow. No wonder folks are grabbing handfuls of the items. A sleeveless dress is on ebay ending in 11 minutes and the bid is $306. I think it was 39 online.

I went and looked a while ago, too! It makes me think that maybe these opportunities won't be done so often. Why should a designer do something low-end when it is bringing such a premium on ebay???

I think this type of thing is why DCL merch is now available online at Disneystore.com. Some people have been upset by it, but it prevents those that stock up for ebay if people know that they can get it elsewhere!
