What is this ride exactly is it a roller coaster or a 3-d ride

Hey happy! I think it's a 3-D ride, from what I've heard from friends. I think it has some simulated motion.

It is not a 3-D ride, it is a space simulator, it actually spins, but, if you do as instructed, you will not know it.

It is an awesome attraction.

I agree it is awesome. It is spinning but you don't know it. I am a chicken for most rides but love MS.

I read all the descriptions of the spinning motion here and other boards... and let me offer my opinion that it is NOT the spinning motion that got to me... the increased gravity and "weightlessness" were actually really well done. What got me all disoriented was the zooming amongst the canyons toward the end of the ride, which felt like a much more intense "traditional" simulator like Star Tours or Body Wars. At no time could I detect I was spinning (other than the fact I knew I would be by reading spoilers of the ride and being able to actually SEE the centrifuge while stepping into the capsule).
