Just read that some NASA big wigs are going to be there for some special plaque dedication. Maybe a CM knows the answer to this. Are these people accessible? I am thinking that my DH would like to talk shop with them as he is on the same level with them. A friend of his has doings with their agency, but I thought it would be neat if he could speak to them, are they staying on site or is this an apperance and good bye trip only. I am sure they will be treated like VIP's. Wondering if we could run into them at a restraunt, hotel etc. DH has to bring his govt. id for the hotel disc. anyway at the swan, and I know it is accepted as he has gone to nasa before etc.

How accessible they are will depend mostly on the special guests themselves. Most like to just do the ceremony, sign a few autographs, and then head off to enjoy the parks with their own families. If your husband gets a chance to meet any of them, it will be a quick hello and handshake ... there won't really be time to "talk shop." Remember, these guys are on vacation too!
