Hey guys. This is actually my first post here. I'm leaving for Disney in about a month and I have a question about a ride.

The Mission Space ride. I heard that it was really cool, but after the whole issue with that kid who died on it, I'm a little nervous attempting it. Is it really that safe? Have you been on it?

Dont worry hon. I havent been on it yet, but im going in a few weeks ill send a report, but the kid who died hadnt been on that kinda ride before and probibly had an unknown heart condition. If you have done any rides such as star wars, body wars etc you KNOW u'll be fine. Hope this helps hon :)

It's a great ride.

I would not call it scary, rather excillerating! You really feel like you are on a space ship headed for the skies. And the Hidden Mickey (cloud) is very cool as you ascend.

Have a great time, no matter what you decide. :flower:

I Just went on it when i was there like 5 days ago. there is nothing to worry. If you have heart problems you should stay off. but other that that, its awesome! its my favorite ride! have fun!

I havent been on it yet but i know people who have and they say it is awsome

next time i go down (in 2006 or 2007) i am going on so give a report when you come back and have a great time whether you go on it or not

it's a really fun ride! it's not that scary, just it is really intense.when my 7 yr old brother and sister went on it and they liked it!

just keep your eyes on the screen :3dglasses

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm probably going to go on it. I don't have any heart problems, but I do have astmuh. It's not bad at all though. I'll go on it if my family goes on it. thanks again.

Don't worry, unless you're prone to motion sickness, then it is horrible. But you won't die, just throw up your Mickey Bars or whatnot. (joke)

haha. I do get motion sickness on those spinny rides. But I've been on all those motion feeling rides w/o a problem.

okaya...ill confess. my first time on it i freaked out. they constantly warn you about inclosed spaces, darkness, loud noises, blah blah blah the list goes on. i mean, im not scared of those things, but after they warn you about a million times, you tend to start wondering what exactly happens. its really fun though. its an attraction not to be missed. lol you feel important when you line up and actually get a "job" to carry out while on your mission. :rotfl:

ive been on it over 7 times it really cool but dont go on it if u have motion sickness or have breathing problem. and about the 4year old boy u dont put 4 year old that ride even if he met the height requirment it just stupid

i agree. A 4 year old should have never been on that ride. Personally i dont think that anyone under like 10 should go on it unless they have been on something similar before. But it is an amazing ride, and feels like you are really up there in the spaceship. Have fun on your trip!!!
