Is mission space as good as they say?
Is it worth a long wait?
Is it a fast pass?

DD rode Mission Space in Oct and in Jan and just LOVES it!!! On visits to epcot on both trips, MS line was never as long as the one for TestTrack. Also, they have a singles line which moves much faster than the regular, or even FP lines.

I did Mission Space in December and loved it. DH doesn't like motion rides and passed (which I think was wise for him). The nice thing is that there was plenty of things to do at the end of the ride that kept him occupied.

They do have fast passes.

My DS and I both LOVED MS! My husband said it was fun, but wasn't as impressed as my DS and I. We think it is awesome! I would fastpass this one or go in the single rider line.

We did Mission Space last November. I was sort of scared of getting motion sick, but I did fine. It was such a GREAT ride. I highly recommend this ride.

My DS6 LOVED it and still talks about it! My DD11 liked it, but said it wasn't her favorite. My DH loved it as well.

We rode it many times during our stay, and loved getting to try the different jobs.

It is definately fast pass and definately worth the wait. When we were there, there was never more than a 10-15 minute wait and didn't even need to use the fast pass. We were there the week prior to Thanksgiving.

Enjoy, its so much fun!

I'm glad I tried it once. I used FP, and since I was a single rider, (DH waited with the kids), I got on even faster. Personally, though, I don't think I'll be doing it again. The lift-off was awesome, but the rest of it made me very woozy and I couldn't wait to get off. I have problems with simulators, and because of the centrifuge, you can't just close your eyes, or it will be even worse. DH said he will definitely go again, however.

I f you don't mind being by yourself use the singles line !!!

The fastpass line seemed to go as quick as the singles line!!

the wait on both was no more then 20 miuntes!!
I was albe to go on it ywice in the same day!!!
granted I went on as a single rider!!
I wish more of the rides had a single riders line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! especially the coasters!!!

LOVE IT!!!!

I am a terrible ride chicken, but I can do any simulator and MS is the best ever.

Because my hubby and brother sometimes get motion sickness, we all took Bonine. Everyone came out fine!

Enjoy!

DW didn't so next time I will go single rider line.Ride made her tummy uneasy.::yes:: :wave2:

Def WORTH IT!!!!!!! Best ride Disney has, I think. It's different than ANY other ride at ANY other theme park. Give it a whirl (no pun intended) ;)

Can riders who have no intention of riding MS go through the line for the fun "experience" and then "chicken out" at the last minute like you can on Star Tours?

Sure can.

We saw more than a dozen people chicken out. Actually, a few ran out!

Hi there

MS was brilliant. I have no problems with simulator rides, but I HATE the teacups, so I was a bit worried about the spinning. I can only say it was brilliant and the take-off was literally 'out of this world'.

I would love nothing more than to ride it...but I know me. I think Star Tours is a hoot and I absolutely love it, but the last time I rode I got off just in time (if ya know what I mean!) An dI know Star Tours doesn't hold a candle to MS. The tea cups andAstro Orbiter are not my friend either. So I'll just settle with being the designated baby swap parent for this one.;)

Unquestionably worth the wait. We waited about an hour last week (the first time we did Test Track a few years ago the wait was nearly 2 hours, so this wasn't bad.). A fast pass would have made it quicker of course. The ride is awesome!

I think the "story" is a bit predictable. The lead in is a lot like Test Track, with views into "mission control". And the "story" of the flight is a bit predictable. But the ride itself is really great!

I think I'm in the minority here, I went on it with a friend on my last trip. I LOVED the take off, but that was it. I felt so sick afterwards, I sat on a bench for about 45 minutes. My friend hated the take off, but loved the rest of it. I've never had a problem on rides, so I don't know what my deal was. I probably won't go on it again, just because I don't want to risk feeling sick again and it's not fun feeling that way, especially at Disney. I know DH will want to go on it when we go in June. He'll probably love it.

Funny you should ask how long it lasts.
DH and I went for the first time in February. I was so hyped by all the warnings that I sat so still and stared ahead and was terrified to even breath. It seemed to be a long ride to me.

DH was not intimidated by the warnings. It was love at first ride for him. His comment was "That was great, it just wasn't long enough".

It's another example of all things being relative.

There wasn't a line, so I went back on a second time. This time I relaxed and LOVED it. By the fourth time, I wanted it to be longer too.

Sorry I can't say exactly how long it does take - just our perception.
