Mission Space refurb extended

I hope it doesn't extend through October. I'd like to see the new version. I am glad they are giving it a little bit of a makeover, as it was needed.

I wonder... what if they are re theming this as Guardian of the galaxy :woohoo:
it would be awesome for EPCOT

Makes sense. It's probably best to keep it closed during F&W. ;)

^^ THIS! lol

I was wondering if the refurb will be going on longer. It was not an option at all when I did my FP+ this week for September. Not going to miss it at all though. I had the good fortune to ride it when it was brand new, before there was a green side. :crazy2:

:figment:Maybe they'll talk about it tomorrow at D23! If they're going to change it a lot I expect that's when we'll hear. If not, maybe (hopefully) they're just updating the god awful video and taking out the joystick part.

Well there goes two of our favorites (Splash & Mission Space).:sad:

Yep! My DD is going to be very sad. First it was Moana no longer greeting in the parks. Then Splash Mountain was down for refurb. Now M:S refurb is extended past when our trip is. Sigh....:(

Oh well. She's already begging to know if we can go for the 50th anniversary in 2021. I pointed out she will be an adult by then and is welcome to do whatever she wishes.

Bummer. My boys and I love that ride. I was wondering what was going on though, I have been checking everyday to see if they released FPs yet for our August trip. Oh well, now to recheck our Epcot touring plan for that day, and see what I will use our 3rd FP choice on since I was saving it for MS.

Love this attraction! Oh well-will have to get it in November-can't wait to see the updates. Lets face it-it needed a refurb:)

As far as im concerned Spaceship is only good for s power nap :rotfl2:
Never been on Mission Space, although I do EE, TOT, Splash, Big Thunder. Lol why I like SE, can take a nice rest on there :stir: I get more motion sick now than in the old days, actually take dramamine before EE :rolleyes1

It's my favorite ride in the parks (havent ridden FOP yet though so who knows if that changes!) but it definitely need fixing, from the video to the queue to everything inbetween. I'm excited to see what comes out of this!
