How is the new verison, the less tense one? Does it give u the same feeling and rush as the original version? I have a bad heart and thinking I should do the less tense one for now on. I enjoyed the original last time I was there, but it did make me feel really dizzy and light headed afterwards. After I sat down and drank some water for a couple mins I was fine. Does this one make you feel dizzy or anything afterwards? I heard that it doesnt spin like the other one, so how does it make you get that same feeling as the original?

Well, I guess that's the POINT.
It DOESN'T!

That's why you are given a choice.

The tame version's capsules tilt and "angle" but without the CENTRIFUGE spinning, there is no "pulling-G's" feeling.

I like the original version and my DW likes the "lite" version.

I didn't enjoy the original version at all. I like the new one though. Its just fun. No feeling sick afterwards. :thumbsup2

I've only been on the "less-intense" version, because I'm a big chicken and also get vertigo and have had neck probs in the past. I liked it. It is VERY tame. It is less intense than even Star Tours or Body Wars. I would let my kids ride it.

Hope that helps!

If you can ride Star Tours or Body Wars you'll be fine on MS-Green (less intense). As an added bonus there's usually no wait to get on, so you won't need to burn a Fast Pass. Be aware, though, that the ride is fairly claustraphobic (4 per car side-by-side, with the instrument panel literally right in your face) and you'll be rolled onto your back for "lift-off". It's a blast though!

I know how the ride is because Ive riden it, the original. I just wanted to know how the new version was.

I guess to really know, Im gonna have to ride the new version and if I hate it well I guess its back to the original.

The green version is great, Teresa, give it a try. I did the original the year it opened and felt 'weird' afterward, not nauseous or faint, just 'weird' for about 5 minutes. I had not ridden the past few trips.

On my trip this past May, the green was up and running and it was great. No 'weird' feeling and for me, seemed very close to the original, yet no spinning. I think the folks at WDW habe a real hit now. Enjoy.
