Has anyone visited the Mission:Space lounge? What was it like?

We'll be at WDW this thanksgiving, and YES :bounce: I'm going to get to use the M:S lounge.

Never used a ride lounge. This will be a real treat!:hyper:

I would like to Know about this too. I have not heard about this. Is this one that anyone can go to or just AP holders or what?

I believe it's for employees of HP to use. Usually when a ride has corporate sponsorship, employees of the sponsor get to use the lounge.

The VIP lounges have corporate sponsors. For instance Kodak sponsors the lounge at Honey I Shrunk the Audience. FedEx used to have one a Space Mountain. There used to be more lounges but after Sept. 11 many of them closed, like FedEX. I know when the parks have VIP's or the corporate sponsors have VIP's they give them a pass for the lounges. I've been fortunate enough in the past to use them, not because I'm a VIP, but because of a family member. Using the lounges is a wonderful treat. They are air conditioned, have clean restrooms, and cold drinks. Of course the best perk is no line to wait in for the attraction. They just take you right on through a "back" door.
I'm hoping to be able to get the pass again on our next trip. If I do, I'll report back about Mission:Space.

On my first trip to WDW we were fortunate enought to visit several lounges in Epcot and jump lines, thanks to my Dad's business connections. It was pretty neat, and the hostesses gave us some fun facts about the rides.

My wife is an interior trim designer for General Motors, and we have access to the lounge at the Test Track. She shows her GM badge and signs into the visitors log. They have cookies and soft drinks, and a good view of the ride. When we are ready, we take a "back entrance" to the loading area, and basically walk right onto the ride. This is a real good version of Fast Pass for us.

Is there a list anywhere of who the corporate sponsors are of these places. How do you find out, so you know whether you have a "connection" to one of them?
