I CANNOT WAIT!

We had a Disney booked for hubby and I for DCA march 10-15 out of Calgary. We chose today to surprise my mom who has been my Disney partner in crime, over the years-with a flight and hotel booking to join us.

She has no idea and will not know until the day before.

I found a YouTube Disney video that was created by someone else, that I want to use as template to surprise her the same way.

This is a lot of work! I've spent the last 3 hours finding the right material. I am so excited, I dont think words are enough try to describe how I feel

There will be 2 versions of the video, the one we are going to show her, and the one we will do which will show her reaction. It's going to be amazing.

That's awesome! We are surprising our son for Easter. I've made an advent calendar to countdown and each morning he will get a Disney related candy/trinket with a "Who am I?" riddle. The last riddle is him and the next day the Easter Bunny will bring him a trip to Disney. We won't be leaving for two weeks after though. He loves to countdown to our trips so I don't want to take that away from him.

We surprised our daughter with trips twice. Your mom will be so excited and thrilled.

Thanks for the support and watching this thread and being part of it. This is a fun! Here is part 1 of videos of this secret mission.

The whole purpose of the video was to ask mom to "watch" our pet rabbit while we are gone to disneyland. The point of this, is to confirm that we need her help here at home, while WE are gone. This is to re-enforce that just hubby and I are the "only"ones leaving for this trip.

....she does not like pets in her house, so I knew her answer would be no-again wanted to re-enforce that seed in her mind that she would be "home" while we were in Disney.

The video is in progress. I have a family member helping me build a video to tell her she is going to come with us, and I cannot wait to see it.

I went to the Disney store today, to buy some tshirts and water bottles as a little surprise when we do spent the first full day there on Monday the 11th of March. Will post a photo tonight when I get home.
