I don't know about any of you all but this Indiana weather is killing me. Wishing I was in sunny FL hanging with the mouse and some Disers! Think I'm going to watch a Disney flick tonight to help, whats your favorites - I've only seen a few and really enjoyed "Cars" - I heard good things about "Up" >>?

Hope you all are doing good! Miss you all! :goodvibes

Hi Will- I hope you get to go to sunny Florida soon. I know just what you mean about this crazy winter!

I recommend Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc. and Up. All great Pixar films.
Then you should also see at least a few Disney animation films- Lion King is fantastic, Beauty & the Beast and Little Mermaid are great too. And then for the older films, I love Peter Pan, Jungle Book & Sleeping Beauty.

I guess I should say- I really haven't met a Disney or Pixar film I didn't like...;)

Yea..It's been a tough winter so far. There was some melting today, but not enough in my opinion.

How about Herbie Fully Loaded.

Know just how you feel. The sun came out today and it was great, only 40 degrees, but still great. :goodvibes Snow tomorrow though, so if your driving to Florida and want to stop by Cleveland and pick me up on the way... :teeth:

I highly recommend Monsters Inc. or the Incredibles. Two of my faves! :thumbsup2 In fact I might put Monsters Inc. tonight myself.

We had awesome weather today. I watched the car race while NC Beast cooked lunch and dinner. I scared the dog when I cheered for my favorites. It was a great race.

We don't own Cars yet---dvr'ed it a couple of times. The last Disney dvds that we watched together was Up and one of the classic ones before Thanksgiving.

If you haven't seen "Up" you have to watch it! It is so good. It really surprised me with how good it was. I was also pleasantly surprised by "Enchanted" and "Wall-E;" I loved those.

And we had a snowy day here in Colorado, but it will be warming up in a few days. I'm looking forward to it even though it won't be anywhere close to FL weather!

I'd also recommend "UP" and "Enchanted". We also loved "Ratatouille", "Meet The Robinsons", "Emperor's New Groove" and "The Incredibles".

I've been wanting to pick up the Anniversary edition of "Mary Poppins" also.

I hear you on the weather, although the area I live in hasn't had much of a winter...yet. Hang in there!

Hi Will! I'm sick of the cold and snow here too. I'm ready for some warm weather!

The only Disney movie I own is Enchanted.

I wish it would warm up here in Aspen! :sad1: I guess this is the price I pay for beautiful summers.

I second (or third) the suggestions for Enchanted and The Emperor's New Groove- both are very funny.

Hope the weather warms up for you. I don't have a weather issue...but I miss the mouse too! Hope things are still working out well for you in Indiana.

I took another route...went into Boston to see The Lion King on stage. That was a very nice Disney fix.

Awww! We miss you too Will!

If you like Cars, I recommend The Incredibles, Up or Finding Nemo. 'Up' to me was pretty sad although a great film, it had a few moments which made me cry! If you are looking for more up beat I really don't think you can find a better pixar film than Finding Nemo. Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, the storyline feels fresh and you can really bond with the characters.

I also love Wall-E, but I would watch Finding Nemo first!

Hope the weather improves soon - it's horrible here today :guilty:

I saw G-Force recently and despite not really liking the whole talking animal thing I thought it was pretty good :thumbsup2

I second what the other have said about the Pixar movies - all good. I am biased though and we own most of the Disney and Pixar movies on DVD

Hi Will! I am with you, Indiana is to far away from the mouse. I think you could get us there real fast in your car :confused3

We watched the Narnia movies the other night, they were good.

I agree with Aaron, Herbie is cute.

My fave is Brother Bear, Little Mermaid.

But when we miss Disney we usually break out the Mickey cartoons! 3 Mousketears or just the classic DVD.

I always go for the classics....Peter Pan (gee, I wonder why?), Beauty and the Beast, Pinocchio, Snow White.....

Hi Will!

A movie not mentioned yet that DH liked is Aladden. Loved Robin Williams humor.

Keep warm!

Hey Will, I was just in Daytona for the race, here are some photos to warm you up:

No blushing smilies here Becx! Having a lot of Disney movies on DVD on these boards is something to say with pride, rather than embarrassment! :thumbsup2

Thank you all for the suggestions! I'm going to have to watch Herbie soon, and there is a couple more you all mentioned I'll have to watch soon.

Those photos are awesome, looks like you got up and close! I'll have to give you show a listen also!

:)
