Missing Ohio People Found Dead

I have been following the story and am heartbroken about this outcome.

This outcome is so heartbreaking. I can't even begin to imagine what Sarah went through while he had her.

They have a timeline on there that says:
Wednesday - Tina Herrmann is reported missing when she doesn't show up for work at a Dairy Queen in Mount Vernon, about 40 miles north of Columbus. Her children, Sarah Maynard, 13, and Kody, 10, are last seen at school. A sheriff's deputy goes to the house and sees the lights on and a pickup truck in the driveway.

Thursday - Authorities find blood inside Herrmann's home. A friend of the woman, Stephanie Sprang, also is missing. Herrmann's pickup truck is found that night close to the nearby Kenyon College campus, leading to a lockdown at the school.
So, on Wednesday the sheriff's deputy sees the lights on and truck in the driveway, then on Thursday, Hermanns truck is found near the college.

Was the truck that was in the driveway Wednesday night Hermanns? I though I heard that her friends car was found in the garage? Did the deputy speak with anyone at the house? Was this sick man already in the house with them when the deputy saw the truck in the driveway?

I'm sure more info will come out later and what we are hearing now may not be 100% true since the media has a way of getting things wrong.
