What food item has Disney eliminated that you miss?

I'll start -- Pralines at Port Orleans Riverside (Dixie Landings).

Goofy Bars (or Hercules bars) whatever they were called - choc ice cream bar with carmel and covered in chocolate - yum:upsidedow

Beaver Tails at the Canadian Pavilion in Epcot
Freshly made donuts at the Boardwalk Bakery
Tuna Pita at ESPN Club

I'm sure there are others but these are always the ones that I first think of. I also miss many unique alcoholic beverages that have since been retired in Disney's quest to turn itself into TGI McScratchy's Goodtime Fooddrinkery. :lmao:

I have a few that I can think of offhand
Tuna pita at ESPN Club
almond horn cookies at Kringla Bakery
Lamb patties (forget what they were called) and Fettucine Alfredo at Spoodles
(going back) ribs and toll house cookie pie at Fireworks Factory
cinnamon sugar pretzels in Fantasyland in MK
strawberry swirl in MK

Twinkie Tiramisu and Lunar Cheesecake at Pop:sad2:

FUDGE>>>They switched to a trans fat free fudge and it is GROSS so dry and nasty.

Rubyprincess:

Ribs at Boatwrights (POR)
KoKo Puffs at Kona (Poly)
Jumbo Shrimp & Pineapple w/carmel sauce at 'Ohana (Poly)
Fettucine Alfredo at Alfredo's (Epcot)
The entire menu from Mama Melrose's (Studios)
The burgers they used to have at Beaches & Cream (Beach Club)

I'm so tired of seeing Penne Pasta on too many menus at WDW restaurants. Be more creative like it once was!!!

Years ago they had corn on the cob in this big shape traingle cage cooking at typhoon lagoon. OMG! It was the best in my life. :thumbsup2 I can't forget it. Have no clue as to why they don't make that anymore. Does anyone remember this. It was a while ago.

Goofy Bars (or Hercules bars) whatever they were called - choc ice cream bar with carmel and covered in chocolate - yum:upsidedow

Yes, yes, YES! I loved that "promotional movie du jour" ice cream bars! They started out as "Hunchback of Notre Dame" bars. Was it because the caramel formed a "hump" on the bar itself? I know it became the "Hercules" bar, but I don't recall if it became "Mulan" before becoming the "Goofy" bar. I would buy one of those again in a heartbeat.

I'm sure there are others but these are always the ones that I first think of. I also miss many unique alcoholic beverages that have since been retired in Disney's quest to turn itself into TGI McScratchy's Goodtime Fooddrinkery. :lmao:

Bingo. I refuse to have one of their "specialty" blue Glowtinis. I loved it when the bars had their own specialty drinks.

The food item I miss comes from Jiko. The pork and duck "firecracker" appetizer. It was so good, and the dipping sauce was very tasty. I once ordered that and soup as my meal, while sitting at the Cooking Place counter. Good times.

And whoever mentioned Fireworks Factory: I liked that place. I am bummed that they opened it back then, because if they opened it now, I think it would do a tremendous business.

This may sound silly but I miss the cold sandwiches/wraps at the food court at All Star Movies. We just got back last weekend after a 10 day stay and there was simply NO cold/cool food to choose from to eat in the food court. It was blazing hot and I got tired, very quickly, of nothing but hot food. What happened to the sandwiches and wraps? I have been 4 other times and have enjoyed them before.

Also, the new buns are horrible!

Just my .02.

Root vegetable pot pie at the Rose and Crown in Epcot--probably my favorite-ever entree at a park restaurant. :cloud9:

Scalloped potatoes from Ohana.

Chocolate macadamia nut tart from Kona

Strawberry swirl from MK

Big shrimp in cocktail from Le Cellier (they now have mushy little ones):sad2:

....and I know this is not a food item darn it! ....but I have to just say it, the characters at LTT!!!!!

Freshly baked sugar cookies! They used to be everywhere, but this time the only one I found was at Goofy's at DTD and it was yuck - raw in the center is not my idea of good eats! :sad2:

I know no one is going to believe this...:confused3
The hummus wrap and veggie lo mein at DHS ABC Commissary.

There was this Scallop appitizer at Chefs de France I loved. I also miss the more specialty drinks at places.

We are planning a trip to WDW this winter and I was upset to see the Maple Glazed Salmon is off the menu at Le Cellier :sad2:

Lunch at the Concourse Steakhouse
a bowl of French Onion Soup
a ceasar salad with yummy rolls
a coke
I miss Concourse Steakhouse :(

On my first visit I got addicted to Victoria's Mists which was a drink at the Bar at AKL. On my last visit it wasn't on the menu and I asked the bartender what happened to to it. He said "We took it off the menu but we still know how to make them, I can make you one if you want." So, if you are missing a drink order one anyway.

Trifle from the little cart in the United Kingdom.
Watermelon Juice from the cantina in Mexico.

Never had a beavertail from Canada and I wish they'd bring them back so I could try one!

I will 3rd the Hercules Bars. If you could see me, I'm pouting right now because they don't have those!

Also, the spicy cheese pretzels in Tomorrowland, all they have are the cream cheese pretzels now and those are gross!
