Just wondering if they ever plan on putting the rest of their movie catalog on Disney + that still hasn't been released. wouldn't mind if they released a film or two per month but there's still a good amount of movies that are not released and just wondering why they would be holding them back.

There definitely are aseveral glaring omissions and sometimes it seems liek they forgot about them. A lot of the 60's and 70's live-action stuff is ignored. Heck, we only have two out of three Dexter Riley movies! There's no reason not to add them to the service.

I wish they would offer a second tier pay choice of Disney+ that was nothing but classic films and the Wonderful World of Disney we watched on Sunday nights. I would ditch the current one in a heartbeat for a vault 20th Century only Disney programming. I have zero interest in Marvel, Star Wars and remakes that they push today. I am not keen on the new Mickey Mouse animation either. My kids have me on their service but I rarely watch it and I would not pay for it in its current state.

It does make you wonder what they're waiting for. I don't know how many buy-ins there were for the 3-year price package, but I'm figuring by this November we'll see something happen.

We got only got the two or three year buy in price, but an additional year free being Verizon customers. So you could be on to something there. They’ll need something to keep customers after the initial promotions end.

He asked of Disney+ was going to add specific content. We have no way of knowing that.

No one here KNOWS anything about anything ...usually on a discussion board you go to see what thoughts others have about a certain topic. Thoughts were shared -it doesn't matter if someone KNOWS something for sure. Heck -the people who run D+ don't even KNOW what they'll do 6-months from now(and I don't actually know this ...it's a figure of speech).

I’m wanting more Wonderful World of Disney 1950s-90s. Some things I hoped would be on D+ are, but there’s still plenty missing.

A dedicated Vault Disney works for me.

This is what I want more vintage programs. I think that the people who run Disney + think the subscribers are all nostagic for the 90's. Sorry not this lady. I also want a lot more vintage programs about the parks. Plus the Muppets at Walt Disney World

Plus more Mouseketeers and rest of Spin and Marty

Yes! I was a teen in the 90s and grew up on Disney Afternoon watching Ducktails, but give me the original MCC serials anyway! Let’s complete the Spin and Marty series. Then add the Hardy Boys and Annette. Add the complete Zorro series if not there.

If they’re trying to capitalize on us 80/90s kids then they could add Avonlea, and the “new” MCC serials like Teen Angel and Secret of Lost Creek. But what I’d really like is Danger Bay.

What's driving subscriptions is access to most of the newer material such as Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar - as well as all the original programming across the different brands. Nostalgia is only going to drive so many to pay unless there's original content.

It would be interesting to see head to head competition between a Walt Era Vault Disney vs Disney +. They would have to put their "cultural warnings" so those easily offended by what was the norm then but does not agree with their point of view now are forewarned. It should not cost what it does to produce today's "hits". As a matter of fact it could be educational from a historical view point of then to now. The point is they are sitting on a vast wealth of product waiting to see the light of day. Roy E. Disney opened the Disney Treasures series back in 2000 and the Disney Legacy series of all the True Life Adventure series later on. Both dvd series were sell-outs. It is still viable product or they would not be doing remake all over the place.

Can’t we have both? I want the nostalgia And the Ms. marvel series

We are getting both to some degree. However, it's a huge vault of material. Pretty much every Marvel title is available except for what Sony (Spider-Man) and Universal (The Hulk from 2008) are holding back. And after the purchase of 20th Century Fox Studios, much of their material has been added.

However, I'd think those looking for Disney nostalgia aren't really driving a whole lot of subscriptions.
