I was wondering if there is any sort of church services on the 7 day western?

Thanks!

There is a non-denominational service at 8am in the Buena Vista theatre on Sunday

Check your navigator, as the location and time varies. I've seen it listed in the conference room/library on deck 2 as well.

I recall seeing somewhere that if there is interest, and someone is willing to lead services, they will arrange a place on top of the non-denomination service.

I've been on a cruise where daily Catholic mass was offered, but that's because a priest was onboard. :D

I hope a priest is onboard for my cruise. It would be so special to celebrate Mass at sea!

As a Presbyterian minister, does anyone happen to know how they go about arranging for clergy on cruises? Are they CMs? Volunteers? Apply to do it?

I don't know the answer but pray you are on our Dec. 11th Eastern Cruise! If not, I hope Disney makes it easy for an impromptu worship service. I think I'll bring an accompaniment CD just in case...

The service is led by a non-ordained CM. They do bring clergy onboard for Easter and Christmas, but I don't know what arrangements they offer in those cases.

Many years ago I used to sail on a line called Sitmar (long since out of business). It was an Italian line and they would offer a cruise free to Catholic priests for doing two daily masses. One for the crew and one for the passengers. On our very first cruise with them we were seated at dinner with the priest for that cruise. He became a life long friend and even married my DH and I. I wish more ships would offer this.

This line had single cabins (very small inside cabins) and that is what they got. He would do a single cruise every year with them to different spots (Caribbean, Mexico, Panama Canal). A reall win win for both sides.

There was not a priest on the Western last August (July 31 sailing). As the ship sailed on Saturday - it was in Key West on Sunday - but we couldn't find a Mass close to the ship. Every RCCL cruise I've been on has always offered at least a Sunday Mass.
