That seems harsh, was she given warnings or anything? Aussie sense of humour is unique and I guess even harder for some to understand when its text.

No, it's a lifetime ban. She ventured out of the Australian section and outraged someone. The Australian sense of humour does not translate well for some, dry is insulting, etc. The posts in the thread where the complaint was made were removed, so the rest are still there. It's a shame there is no indication that the profile can no longer be used because it just looks like she stopped.

That is seriously so sad, I agree we have a different sense of humour, but really how offensive can it be. I agree she made me laugh at things she said, was very entertaining

I think I saw the posts being referred to and it was quite a heated argument.

If AustralianKaren hadn't been banned (which I didn't realise she had), I think she'd decided she'd had enough of the Dis anyway. She did start a thread saying she was leaving.

I'm with Bec, I do miss the casual conversations that went on here. That Fireman thread all about nothing in particular was quite entertaining.

I think the mods should just look at the sub-boards and exclude if that's an issue from a specific sub-board only. There's a lot of persons on the WDW board I'd like to ***** about - I just don't go there now (or just read for specific info I am looking for) but it seems a bit harsh AK got banned and others seem to able to go to town. I miss AK crazy humour too.
