Missed Call....

Ashli was so upset last night because she got a call but the only thing on the other end was static. She was convinced it was Titus trying to call from Kuwait. I kept telling her it probably was nothing and to try not to worry about it but she was devistated. I told Titus' mom about it in an email today and Titus' dad checked his (Titus') account and found that he did try to call our number last night from camp new jersey. It would have been his first call back, we haven't heard anything from him yet since he got there. I don't even want to tell Ashli about this when she gets home. She's not been doing so well with Titus' absence anyway and this is really more than she needs right now.

Dang! Missing the call must have been disappointing (whether she knows she missed it or not!)

Those phone calls are so precious and sooooo disappointing when you miss them. I cried for days after I missed a call from DH during Desert Shield/Storm.

Here's hoping he tries again and gets through.

He was probably calling to tell her that he got this wacky letter from a woman in NJ who says she's a DISer!

Wait a minute...I resemble that remark!

Hope he is able to call her again soon (without the static!)

The one good thing is that we now know Titus is in camp new jersey. Until the phone record saying that's where the call originated from we weren't sure if he was there or not. We were guessing that was his likely location though.

Pembo, the cell phone idea of classicpooh4's sounds wonderful to me too! I've pm'ed her for the details. I'm sure hoping it's something that we'll be able to do too. The only thing that worries me is the army wouldn't let Titus take his cell phone with him in the first place (he had two actually, but he left them both and cancelled his accounts)
