I missed the show tonight, who were the bottom 3? What else happened on the show? Please tell me..........

You did not miss much...or maybe you missed alot depending on your point-of-view...

Josh Gracin was NOT in the bottom 3....Trenyce, Carmen and Kimberly( I get the Kimberlys' names confused...not the blonde one) were singled out....

...Kimberly was deemed safe...they make Carmen and Trenyce wait and 'sing for their supper' ...show America what they're missing essentially...and then...FOX announces that since Cory(sp?) was disqualified...NO ONE would be eliminated but that the votes tabulated this week would carry over to the next...

...hope that made sense.:)

Thanks, I was so bummed about forgetting to tape it. My DS (16) had a baseball game tonight.

What a dumb show that was. I mean, I am glad that neither girl was disappointed and sent home, but what was the point? Oh I know, to sell advertising!

Anyway, it was VERY clear to me when Trenyce and Carmen had the showdown which was the better of the two. That Trenyce can sing! I just don't really get Carmen, I mean she is cute and perky and all, but what is up with that echo thing she does? That drives me crazy! I like her voice with the exception of that.

And what about Simon insinuating that Ricky should be the one eliminated? What a jerk that guy is. I'm sorry, honesty is all good and fine, but not to the point where he is making some kid feel two feet tall on National TV. :(

I missed the show last night and it looks like I didn't miss much! I knew I could count on you guys to come here and find out what happened! Thanks!

Snoopy...I actually thought Simon was referring to Josh!

I thought Josh looked very uncomfortable last night, with the comments he made I'm wondering if he is wanting to get back to his unit.

I don't really like Ricky, but I think he did a good job with the disco song...the wig cracked me up.

I also don't get Carmen. My kids said Simon decided to not eliminate anyone because it was Carmen who got booted off and that's his favorite.

I also was really ticked that I sat through almost an hour of nonsense and then we get told "oh yeah...no ones going home tonight." Nice for the finalists, but really crappy to do to the viewers.

No kidding what a waste of time! I also think Simon meant Josh because his singing was so bad the last time. Sorry I watched it!

I don't think the judges knew of the producers decision. The look on Simon's face at the end told it all, he looked

Just an FYI...I believe that Simon is an exectutive producer of the show and is involved in this decision process some how.

I'm thinking that Trenyce probably lost votes because of her shoplifting charge, not because of her singing. I don't know why Kimberly L. was in the bottom three - I thought she did a pretty good job with the disco. I thought Carmen did OK too. But Rickey and Josh were terrible. I wonder whether most people just vote for the people they like, or if they vote on the merits of each performance. I agree that show was a waste of time. That is ridiculous to go through that whole thing and then not remove anyone. Although I'm kind of glad that it happened, since I didn't think any of those three should have been the one to go.

I don't think Simon Cowell (judge) is an executive producer of the show. The executive producer, I think, is Simon Fuller.

I thought that Simon was referring to RICKEY as the one he thought should be out, not Josh.

I don't get Carmen either. She has that Buffy St. Marie-type of vibratto at the end of her notes and that annoying "yodel" in her singing. I think Simon is right, though, that she's probably the most "commercial" singer they have and that's why he likes her.

Actually, esecutive producer or not...I thought Simon looked surprised!

And I actually thought that Simon was referring to JOSH too, not Ricky!:p

I, too, thought Simon was talking about Josh. But he could have been talking about Clay also. I think that he is disappointed in his week after week, same ole thing type of singing. Granted Clay has a wonderful voice but he hasn't stepped outside the box and taken a chance.

I also feel that last night was a waste of time just like Tuesday nights show. But the Ford Explorer commercial was cute.

I posted this on another thread but did anyone catch the look on Simon's face when they announced that no one was going home? He looked so disgusted but then we have been seeing that quite a bit here lately. I don't think that he is very happy with the way this years show is going.

We've talked about Carmen's voice and the little "trill" or whatever it is she has. But remember the girl that Simon liked last year? I don't remember her name but she was from Florida I think. She had the same kind of "trill" but not so pronounced. I didn't care for her voice either. She went pretty far too. Maybe down to the last 6?
